How do I access my Canvas account?
Students are sent course invitations when a workbook is issued. Within the email students will need to click on "get started" to create their NLC/DA Canvas account. If the account is already established please click on NLC/DA Canvas Website to login to their account.
What do I do with my workbook after it is complete?
Once a workbook is complete along with the Canvas assignments and final exam having been passed with 60% or higher the workbook will need to be returned to our Layton office by mail or dropping it off. If you do come into the office we ask that you please wear a face mask. Thank you!

Why is a Canvas quiz telling me it is locked?
Some Canvas quizzes have a prerequisite that need to be completed before students can move onto the following quiz. The best way to prevent quizzes from being locked is to follow the quizzes in the MODULES of their course.
How do I take my final exam?
Students are now able to complete their final exam on Canvas at a time that is most convenient to them through Honorlock. If a student is on their NLC/DA Canvas Dashboard and the course says proctor underneath the student will need to go into their modules to submit the Honorlock practice quiz. This ensures everything will go smoothly during the final exam. For more details please click on Testing Process.
What if I did not pass my final exam the first time?
Please click on Testing Process and you will be able to request a second attempt. There is a retesting fee of $10 that will need to be paid before we can issue the credit to the school.
How long do I have to complete my course?
Please note that you will have 90 days, from the date the course was issued, to complete the course workbook and all online assignments. This includes all courses purchased on that specific date.
Can I still complete a workbook if it is over the due date stamped on my workbook?
Students are able to extend their workbook one time for an additional 30 days from their stamped due date for $15. If a course is not completed by the 120 days students will have have a repurchase fee of $35.

How many workbooks can I have at once?
Students are able to have 1 up to 4 workbooks out at a time.
When will my credit reflect on my transcript?
Once NLC/DA has completed a course. The credit is then sent to the school via email. The school's registrar will then update the students transcript reflecting their credit earned from NLC/DA.
What do I do if I did not receive my Canvas Invitation?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, DOB and workbook requesting another invitation and we will get that resolved.
How can I get my password reset if I have submitted a forgot password on Canvas and have still not recieved an email.
