Earth Science 08-04-00-00-010
In this course students will learn about Earth and its ability to sustain organisms and ecosystems through a delicate balance of environmental conditions. Students will learn the characteristics of the solar system and the specific conditions that allow for life on Earth. Students will also be taught about ground level ecosystem regulation concepts, including the roles that species play in the energy cycle and the factors that can change or destroy ecosystems. Finally, students will learn how humans are affecting the environment in terms of water and air pollution and what can be done to limit our effect on earth systems.
